Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn) Specialist - Ambulatory Quality

Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Specialist (Northwest Specialty Hospital)

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate, patient-oriented Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Specialist to join our team.

• $1000 sign‑on bonus available for this position.

• Conduct Medicare Wellness visits under the supervision of the primary physician.
• Schedule follow‑up visits, process referrals and authorizations, and document all actions in the patient’s chart.
• Room patients, record vital signs, administer medications and injections.
• Perform CLIA‑waived testing, EKG testing, and set up for and assist with in‑office procedures.
• Properly discard all biohazard and sharps waste, and stock supplies.
• Demonstrate aseptic technique, standard precautions, proper order of draw, specimen processing, and basic pharmacology.
• Work closely with multiple departments and providers to ensure the chart and information are complete for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with an active certification with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Health career Association (NHA), or hold current LPN licensure in Idaho.
• One year of CMA or LPN experience required.
• Awareness of cleaning standards and ability to perform in accordance with them.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills for safe, effective patient care and documentation standards.
• Willingness to participate in goal‑setting and educational activities for professional advancement.
• Previous experience is preferred.
