Receiving Manager

Job Summary

Shabby Fabrics is seeking a motivated and experienced Receiving Manager to take ownership of our receiving and inventory operations.

This role is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and knows how to create structure, delegate tasks, and keep a team on track. The Receiving Manager will oversee daily receiving workflows, ensure inventory accuracy, and provide direction and accountability to the receiving team.

This is a hands‑on management position requiring both leadership and active participation in warehouse duties.

Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to the receiving and inventory team

• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule

• Train, coach, and hold team members accountable to performance expectations

• Create organized workflows and maintain a productive, positive work environment

• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in receiving and inventory processes

• Oversee the receiving of all inbound shipments and ensure timely processing

• Audit shipments for accuracy against packing slips and invoices

• Communicate discrepancies or damages to vendors and internal departments

• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records in the system

• Ensure product is delivered to the correct department quickly and correctly

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, receiving, or inventory environment

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Ability to delegate, motivate, and keep a team on track

• High attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy

• Basic math skills and comfort working with inventory systems

• Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for prolonged periods

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work in an active warehouse setting

• Must be able to distinguish between colors

Monday–Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm
