About the OpportunityOur client is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee the day to day execution of a large scale Copper Silver & Gold mineral exploration program in western Idaho.
Reporting directly into the executive leadership team, this individual will lead all operational and logistical aspects of an active drilling campaign, ensuring safe, efficient and cost effective field operations throughout the exploration season.
Working closely with drilling contractors, technical teams, service providers and regulatory agencies, you'll play a critical role in maximising drilling productivity, reducing downtime and delivering a well organised, high performing exploration program.

About the CompanyOur client is a publicly listed mineral exploration company advancing a district scale copper discovery in western Idaho
, with additional precious and base metal mineralisation across the project.
The company controls a 100% owned flagship asset that has benefited from substantial historical and recent drilling, while continuing to generate new discovery opportunities through regional exploration, geochemistry, geological mapping and geophysical programs.
Supported by an experienced leadership team and a strong technical strategy, the company is entering another significant phase of exploration and project advancement.
What We’re Looking For- High integrity with strong leadership and decision making ability.
- Demonstrated experience managing exploration field operations and drilling programs.
- Excellent organisational, logistical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple contractors within a fast paced operational environment.
- Strong understanding of drilling operations, permitting, budgeting and remote field logistics.
- Proven ability to identify operational improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively alongside technical teams, contractors, regulators and senior leadership.
