At Traffi Calm, we’re dedicated to creating a safer world through advanced traffic safety solutions. Our products are at the intersection of technology and safety, and we’re in search of a passionate Test Technician to help us bring the future of traffic safety to life.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Conducts tests and inspections to evaluate the quality and performance of products and equipment
- Interprets quality standards, engineering diagrams and product specifications, then executes tests accordingly
- Uses power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes and computer-generated test programs
- Provides process feedback for continuous improvement
- Alerts leads and management of quality trends of defective product
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to work in a lean manufacturing environment with attention to continuous flow and detail
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand operating sheets and production flow
- Experience in through-hole and surface-mount soldering or ability to be trained
- Ability to aid in the introduction of new assemblies in production
- Ability to follow all of MOR Manufacturing’s processes
- Ability to suggest red-lines to OP sheets to Team Lead and Management
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Must be humble, passionate about your job, and treat others with the greatest of respect
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Component or ability to obtain
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time
- Repetitive use of hands/motion and have manual dexterity, finger dexterity, and multi-limb coordination
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components
- Use of required PPE
- Working in a manufacturing plant, non-controlled climate, mechanical equipment, moving objects, fumes, odors, dirt, and dust
- Full-time.
Work schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Work schedule is subject to change. May require overtime based on business needs
