Painter Assistant

The Painter Assistant works in the paint department performing touch-up work on small parts such as brackets. This is an entry-level role that focuses on light-duty, repetitive production tasks and does not require the use of a respirator for touch-up activities. The position offers the chance to develop foundational skills in industrial painting and paint preparation while contributing to high-quality aerospace components.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the paint department with touch-up work on small parts such as brackets and other production components.
• Prepare parts for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and basic paint prep activities as directed.
• Use spray guns and other painting tools for light industrial painting and detailing tasks when trained and authorized.
• Handle simple, repetitive, and monotonous tasks in a fast-paced production environment while meeting daily metrics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
