FABRICATOR – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reads job specification process sheets to determine the procedure required at assigned work station(s).
• Operates machinery and observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
• Quality Control Inspection of product
• Assists machine operators to set up machine, stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to do highly repetitive physical work, paying attention to detail.
• Experience reading blueprints and using micrometers and calipers is preferred.

EDUCATION/

EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED or three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Standing during 10 hour shift
• Regularly lift up to 40 pounds
• Regularly working with sharp objects and chemicals
