Associate Assembler - 1st shift

Overview

Associate Assembler at GE Aerospace in Clearwater performs electronic and electro-mechanical production assembly of modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables, following established procedures while using hand tools and computer-generated barcodes/labels.

• Performs electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or related repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations related to hardware such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Uses established procedures, work instructions, schematics and/or other approved documentation for assembly.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of related industry or similar job experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions and use a PC to navigate online documents, drawings, and instructions.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 35 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
• May be required to work with hazardous materials.
• Eligibility: at least 18 years of age by the start date; role may include high-risk or hazardous operations and shifts beyond a standard workweek.
