OverviewNorthwest Specialty is seeking a compassionate, patient‑focused LPN to join our dynamic Urgent Care team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced providers and clinical staff in a busy urgent care setting, providing high‑quality care and support to patients of all ages under the scope of your license. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering injections, performing venipuncture and specimen processing, conducting urinalysis and EKG testing, starting IVs, and assisting with in‑office procedures.
You will also be responsible for preparing and cleaning procedure rooms, maintaining proper infection control standards, safely disposing of biohazard and sharps waste, and ensuring clinical supplies are fully stocked and organized. As an LPN, you will also have the opportunity to expand your clinical skillset through employer‑provided training in basic radiology.
Rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering injections, performing venipuncture and specimen processing, conducting urinalysis and EKG testing, starting IVs, assisting with in‑office procedures, preparing and cleaning procedure rooms, maintaining infection control standards, disposing of biohazard/ sharps waste, and ensuring clinical supplies are stocked.
Qualifications andPreferred Experience
- Eligibility for employment in the United States.
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
- Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and documentation.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD‑10 codes, and medical terminology preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current LPN licensure in the State of Idaho.
- Ability to complete internally provided radiology and IV training courses within six months of hire.
Previous experience preferred.
