North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital is expanding its services and will be opening an inpatient rehabilitation (IRU) unit to pair with its long‑term acute‑care beds. The IRU will provide acute rehabilitation services for patients with neurologic, orthopedic, cardiac, and respiratory disease. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team of passionate patient caregivers.

• Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required
• Current CPR certification required
• One (1) year recent experience in an acute care setting preferred

• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
• Demonstrates awareness of current Infection Control requirements and practices
• Demonstrates clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Demonstrates appropriate use of supplies and equipment
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards

Under the direction of a registered nurse, provides general nursing care to patients. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
