Resource Nurse; Rn - Pre-Op​/Pacu

Overview

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a Resource Nurse (RN) to join our team.

Schedule:

3 - 12 hour shifts. This position supports the PACU department, Endoscopy Department, and the Inpatient Unit.

• Direct and/or provide professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Oversee a specific department during the assigned shift; delegate nursing assignments; prepare schedules; oversee admissions and discharges; monitor and order medicines and supplies.

• Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• ACLS certification within six months of employment
• PALS certification within six months of employment
• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others
• Aware of professional nursing standards and performs in accordance with them
• 3-5 years of nursing experience required
• Ultrasound guided IV placement skills are preferred
