Overview
Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a passionate Resource Nurse (RN) to join our Team! The schedule will be 3-12 hour shifts. This position will support our PACU department, Endoscopy Department, and Inpatient Unit.
In this position you will direct and/or provide professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum. Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. Responsible for overseeing a specific department within a healthcare facility for your assigned shift. Perform such duties as delegating nursing assignments, preparing schedules, overseeing admissions and discharges, monitoring and ordering medicines and supplies.
Qualificationsand
Preferred Experience
- Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- ACLS certification within six months of employment
- PALS certification within six months of employment
- Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others
- Aware of professional nursing standards and performs in accordance with them
- 3–5 years of nursing experience required
- Ultrasound guided IV placement skills are preferred
