Sales Administrator

This in‑office Sales Administrator role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to customers while providing comprehensive support to the outside sales team. You will generate accurate quotes, process and review customer orders, and serve as a key liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure a smooth and positive experience throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Generate accurate and timely quotes for customers based on their requirements and available products.
  • Process, review, and edit customer orders to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with company policies.
  • Manage customer relationships by clearly communicating lead times, setting expectations, and addressing perceptions and concerns.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues, answer questions, and ensure customers receive appropriate service.
  • Educate assigned accounts and business partners on available products, features, and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with assigned accounts and business partners to support long‑term partnerships.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities within existing customer accounts and other segments of those accounts.
  • Prepare, create, and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel to support sales activities and decision‑making.
  • Perform data entry and administrative support tasks to keep customer records, orders, and documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate effectively with the outside sales team and other colleagues to support shared goals and deliver consistent customer service.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree and 1+ years of sales support or administrative experience, or a high school diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in sales support, sales administration, or administrative support roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks such as quoting, order processing, and customer communication in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and professional telephone manner.
  • Clear and effective written communication skills for emails, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
  • Telecommunication industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working with internal cross‑functional teams such as operations, production, or customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
Work Environment

This is a fully onsite position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role primarily involves computer‑based work in an office setting within a manufacturing facility that performs light‑duty assembly. Approximately 260 people work onsite, creating a busy and collaborative environment.
