Security Guard ; Nights - Security Department

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Security Guard to join the team!

Schedule:

Three 12‑hour night shifts Thursday–Saturday from 1600–0430.

Protect staff, patients, and visitors; secure hospital property; patrol building and grounds; monitor badge access; observe activity in and out of the hospital; respond to code calls; prevent vandalism, theft, fire, and disturbances; identify maintenance or safety concerns; assist leadership with incident command and emergency management planning; provide safety training; work closely with other departments; maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality;

other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others
• Strong verbal and written English communication for patient care and documentation standards
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• FEMA Training completed within 3 months of hire
• Successful completion of the Hospital Security Officers Basic Training Program and receipt of certificate through the International Association for Hospital Security and Safest Foundation within 6 months of hire
• MOAB Certification within 12 months of hire
• Prior security experience preferred; healthcare or hospital security experience is a plus
