Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on‑the‑job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding, and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid‑pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

• Base pay: $14.85 - $24.50 for full‑time positions after eligibility criteria are met.
