Specialty Pest Control Technician
Romney Pest Control is part of the Pest Co family, providing pest control services across the United States. We are looking for an experienced Technician to join our team in Post Falls, Idaho.
Location: Post Falls, Idaho
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays
Key Responsibilities- Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
- Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
- Serve as the expert for customers by implementing the most efficient pest solution for each customer's needs.
- Use all safety equipment as instructed.
- Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order, including vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature.
- Devote full attention and time during working hours to the performance of duties as directed by the supervisor and the company.
- Drive trailers, box truck and large vehicles.
- Execute treatments for Bed Bugs, Cockroaches, Termites and occasionally other specialty pests.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and in-person).
- Strong customer service and presentation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and bend/kneel as necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
- Self‑motivated and results‑driven.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Obtain a D.O.T. commercial driver screening and certification.
- Willing and able to travel to neighboring cities and states occasionally.
- Pest control experience or a license (preferred but not required).
- Use of company vehicle granted upon route assignment
