Primary FunctionsThe Senior SharePoint Developer develops low‑code applications and workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform and adjacent. This role is essential in balancing operational efficiency through automation and custom app development while also ensuring day‑to‑day IT issues are resolved promptly, and systems are maintained.
Position Requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or an adjacent field + 10 years of system administration experience (hard requirement)
- Or, a Master’s degree + 7 years of system admin experience
- 1+ years of that experience developing solutions for the Power Platform
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and juggle competing priorities
- Quick in learning and adapting to new projects with minimal supervision
- Sedentary work:
Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Walking and standing are often necessary in carrying out job duties - Visual acuity for viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; analyzing code
- Experienced in the process of software development
- Experience developing using frameworks such as Agile and TDD
- Power Platform Development
- Design, develop, test, document, and maintain scalable, high‑quality web solutions and automations within Power Platform and Share Point
- Estimate assignments and projects based on scope and work effort
- Adherence to industry best practices and standards
- Collaborate with Developers and team stakeholders to build requirements for custom solutions
- Experience building complex apps in (canvas) Power Apps, Power Automate, and Share Point
- Experience editing JSON and XML code (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and writing skills. Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical users
- Maintain technical documentation for code workarounds and unique scenarios
- Knowledgeable of information contained in Microsoft Power Platform courses (PL-200, PL-400, PL-7001, PL-7002)
- MUST be US Citizen
- MUST be eligible for DoD Security Clearance (no felony convictions or significant financial difficulties)
- Balancing user requirements with platform limitations
- Ensuring compliance with security, data governance, and organizational policies
- Anticipating and addressing potential automation conflicts or system dependencies
