Job Title:
Inventory Control I
Location: Post Falls, , USA 83854
Duration: 5+ Months
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Steel-toe shoes are required.
Work Environment: The work environment includes three temperature zones:
- Dry warehouse
- Cooler (approximately 34F)
- Freezer (approximately 0F)
Freezer gear and related protective clothing will be provided as needed.
Physical Requirements- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
.
Employees will use a handheld scan gun that identifies inventory locations requiring counts. The process includes:
- Traveling to the assigned location.
- Scanning the location barcode.
- Counting inventory.
- Entering the quantity and submitting the count.
Daily volume can vary:
- Heavy days: up to 1,000 counts
- Lighter days: approximately 300 counts
Once counts are completed, a variance report is generated and provided to experienced cycle counters who research and resolve any discrepancies.
