Position SummaryThe Transport Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from medical appointments, dialysis, therapy, and facility activities. This role supports resident safety, dignity, and comfort while ensuring compliance with infection control standards, safety regulations, and facility policies.
The Transport Driver operates under nursing supervision and must obtain/maintain an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Resident Transportation
- Safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy, dialysis, and activities.
- Assist residents entering and exiting vehicles safely.
- Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices properly.
- Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Maintain transport schedules and documentation.

- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after use.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain transport equipment in safe working condition.
- Certified Nursing Assistant in Oklahoma. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be 21 years old or over with clean driving record
- Must be willing to be on call in case a resident needed transported
