St. Andrew's Episcopal School seeks a part-time Dance Instructor to lead the Upper School Dance Company in Fall and Spring Trimesters and serve as the choreographer for the Winter Upper School Musical.

POSITION SUMMARY

The school seeks a part-time Dance Instructor to lead the Upper School Dance Company in Fall and Spring Trimesters (3:30 - 5:45 p) and serve as the choreographer for the Winter Upper School Musical (3:45 - 5:45 p).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Compliance & Community Commitment:
    Abides by St. Andrew’s Episcopal School’s Employee Handbook
  • Commits to the school’s mission, core values, statement of diversity, equity, and belonging, and community norms for discourse
  • Lead the Upper School Dance Company during the Fall and Spring Trimesters (3:30 - 5:30 p.m.)
  • Choreograph the Winter Upper School Musical (3:45 - 5:45 p.m.)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA or higher
  • Experience with college-level or professional dance performance and/or
  • Experience with K-12th-grade dance instruction
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Moving between various studios/rehearsal spaces/performance spaces
  • Regular physical activity, including demonstrating movements/occasionally assisting with event setups/moving materials
