McLean School (mcleanschool.org), is a K-12 co-educational independent school in Potomac, Maryland. We seek applicants for two vibrant Private Strings Teachers: one for Violin/Viola and one for Cello to begin in September. McLean School has, for 70 years, been helping bright students realize their full potential by providing a comprehensive college preparatory program that emphasizes small classes and differentiated instruction.

Position Details
  • Lesson hours: 3:00-6:00 pm, weekdays
  • Students range from beginners to advanced levels
  • Individual instruction held on our campuses in Potomac, Maryland - Lochinver Lane Campus (8224 Lochinver Lane) and Falls Road Campus (11810 Falls Road). The campuses are 5 minutes apart from each other by car.
Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor's degree in Music Performance or Pedagogy
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of private teaching experience
  • Passion for teaching young musicians
  • Creative, flexible, and student-centered approach
