Home‑Stay Coordinator (NYC / North NJ)

Ivy International Group is looking for a Home‑stay Coordinator to join our home‑stay program to support international students. If you are a mature, outgoing person who loves interacting with people and enjoys flexible working hours, then you will love this job.

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required for this position.

Language

Required:

Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese is required for this position.

Experience: 1-3 Years of relevant work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit American families to host international students.
  • Coordinate with Chinese high school students, parents and host parents.
  • Conduct home visit and write monthly report.
  • Organize activities and outings.

Skills/

Qualifications:

  • Mature, outgoing adult with outstanding moral character.
  • Highly organized, professional, efficient and works well under pressure.
  • Empathy and understanding for international students.
  • Love teenagers and being service oriented.

International Student Residential Adviser (Toms River, NJ)

Ivy International Group is looking for a Residential Advisor to live with and supervise a group of Chinese students studying at a local high school. If you are a mature, outgoing person who loves spending time with students and interacting with different cultures, then you will love this job. In addition to a salary, Residential Advisor receives room and board throughout the school year in the same dorm where the students are housed.

Notice: This job requires relocation to Toms River, NJ.

Job Type: Full‑time

Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsible adult supervision for the students.
  • Manage dorm daily operation.
  • Provide driving support.
  • Organize activities and outings.

Skills/

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years education experience (direct experience with your own children or professional experience). Experience with teenage children is highly preferred.
  • Minimum college/associate degree (international degree is recognized).
  • Mature, outgoing adult with outstanding moral character.
  • Highly organized, professional, efficient, resourceful and works well under pressure.
  • Interest in working with high school age students.
  • Empathy and understanding for international students.
  • Ability to speak Chinese or experience working in China is a plus.

  • Ability to speak Chinese or experience working in China is a plus.
