The Assistant Front Desk Manager supports the Front Desk Manager in overseeing daily front office operations while providing strong leadership, training, and hands‑on support to the front desk team. This role is highly visible and guest‑facing, serving as a key representative of the Front Desk while ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and team engagement.
Bolger Center is a conference hotel located in Potomac, Maryland. It features 431 rooms, a Stained-Glass Ballroom, indoor and outdoor dining venues, and a range of recreational facilities.
CompensationCOMPENSATION:
The salaried rate for this position is $54,000.00 to $60,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments, inspections, and quality control.
- Support the Director of Housekeeping with departmental processes, administrative tasks, reporting, and communication.
- Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson teams.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
- Address guest concerns professionally and collaborate with Front Office on room readiness and special requests.
- Help manage schedules, staffing levels, inventory, and departmental records.
- High school diploma (hospitality degree preferred).
- Previous management experience required.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping procedures and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Requires 1-3 years of related experience and 0-2 years’ experience in a management role.
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- May require extended hours or cross shift support during busy periods.
- Must be reachable after hours for urgent needs.
