Systems Administrator

Job Summary

The primary role of the System Administrator is to manage and support mission‑critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day‑to‑day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and UNIX systems. You will work directly with hardware and software in a dynamic, multi‑platform environment.

• Provide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution.
• Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure.
• Configure and deploy Red Hat Linux and Windows systems.
• Support vulnerability management using Nessus.
• Handle STE/STN scoring and documentation.
• Maintain POA&M and patch systems based on security and functional parameters.
• Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes.
• Analyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 10+ years of system administration experience.
• Strong Red Hat Linux and Windows (2012/2016/2019) troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Nessus, POA&M, and STE/STN initiatives.
• Experience configuring UNIX and Windows environments.
• An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

• Experience with virtual environments and system capacity planning.

This position requires access to ITAR and/or EAR controlled information. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR/EAR, or be approved for an export license as required. Some positions will require current U.S. citizenship.

$150,000 - $175,000
