As a Software Engineer – Mid Level you will be responsible for:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
- Contributing to cutting‑edge development programs and designing new solutions.
- Innovating RF signal processing applications.
- Developing analytics, visualization, and discovery tools.
- Integrating new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors.
- Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documenting test results. Resolving software problem reports.
- Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS)/government off‑the‑shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. May substitute four years’ experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Seven (7) years’ experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Proficiency working in Linux development environments.
- Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- Candidate must possess an active security clearance with a polygraph.
- Experience with software‑defined radio (SDR) programming.
- Experience with geospatial processing.
- Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays.
- Experience with Git Lab, Git Hub, or similar version‑control tools.
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project‑management tools.
TS/SCI with Polygraph and Special Power.
Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington D.C. is $104,900 – $184,920. Salary will be adjusted for location, experience, education, and business considerations.

Washington state applicants:
Non‑represented full‑time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off and at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full‑time employees accrue 6.67 hours of vacation per month, up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
