We are seeking skilled construction laborers to assist with large-scale construction projects. Candidates should be versatile and open to learning new skills, with the ability to transfer from one task to another as needed. This role involves working on foundation work, piping, and paving labor, trenching, and laying pipe for storm and sewer systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate construction equipment such as tampers and rollers.
• Use hand tools and perform tasks involving measurements and grading.
• Mix concrete and cut pipe.
• Install pipe and work with various construction materials.
• Support bridge and related structural heavy civil and highway construction projects.
• Transfer between tasks as the situation requires, including trenching and laying pipe for storm and sewer systems.

Essential skills include:

• Reliable transportation to travel to various local sites.
• At least 1 year of experience in construction, pipe installation, paving, or trenching. Civil and/or road construction preferred.
• Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including movement and lifting, relevant to the job.
• Specific vision requirements include distance, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work environment:
Work on projects involving site development, construction preparation, trenching, drainage, grading, paving, and concrete foundation work. Be prepared to work outside in various weather conditions, as there are no days off for inclement weather unless specified on the job. Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and occasionally to fumes or airborne particles, with a usually moderate noise level.

Job type and location:
This is a contract to hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
