Gillingham Charter School is looking for dedicated substitute teachers to be part of our team for the  school year! College students in their last year of education for a teaching cert are welcome and encouraged to apply!

• Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances (Current within the last year)
• A willingness and enthusiasm to learn new methodologies
• A love of the outdoors
• Experience coordinating academically-oriented clubs and extracurricular activities is a plus!
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in a dynamic team environment

Gillingham Charter School is a unique Title I public school in Pottsville, PA, servicing students in many districts in the coal region, inside and outside Schuylkill County. Our little school offers Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade students "Relational Education" based on the philosophy of Charlotte Mason. Our small learning environment, beautiful classrooms, interesting books and broad curriculum are designed to maximize children  innate desire to learn and live fully.
