Pottstown School District is looking for a STEAM Teacher at Pottstown Middle School.
Middle School STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Teacher
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Art Education, or a related field.
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate (or applicable state certification), preferably in one or more of the following:
- Science (Grades 4-8 or 7-12)
- Mathematics (Grades 4-8 or 7-12)
- Technology Education
- Elementary/Middle Level Education with relevant STEAM experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of STEAM instructional practices and project-based learning.
- Ability to integrate technology into instruction.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience integrating arts into STEM curriculum.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania STEELS Standards and Pennsylvania Academic Standards.
- Design and deliver engaging, interdisciplinary STEAM lessons aligned to state standards.
- Facilitate hands‑on, inquiry-based learning experiences.
- Guide students through engineering design challenges and collaborative projects.
- Utilize technology, coding, robotics, and maker‑centered activities to enhance learning.
- Assess student learning through performance tasks, projects, and traditional assessments.
- Foster creativity, critical thinking, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Collaborate with teachers across content areas to integrate STEAM concepts.
- Maintain STEAM lab equipment, materials, and technology resources.
- Design and deliver engaging, interdisciplinary STEAM lessons aligned to state standards.
- Facilitate hands‑on, inquiry-based learning experiences.
- Guide students through engineering design challenges and collaborative projects.
- Utilize technology, coding, robotics, and maker‑centered activities to enhance learning.
- Assess student learning through performance tasks, projects, and traditional assessments.

Acts 34, 114, and 151 Clearances and physical and TB test must be less than one year old. Must be received before employment can commence.
$6,100 in tuition reimbursement per year to earn Master’s degree.
Salary per Professional Agreement.
Google Certification or Google Classroom experience, preferred.
The District retains the right to screen, interview, and hire candidates prior to the closing date on the posted position.
