Requirements: PA Teaching Certification (Active); at least 5 years teaching in a school setting
Preferred:
Interest or certification in educational administration
Google Certification or Google Classroom experience preferred.
- Assists in monitoring the fidelity of implementation of MTSS at the school level including both academic and behavior support systems.
- Work with all school-level staff and students to design and implement a school-wide MTSS framework with fidelity.
- Develop and refine, in collaboration with teachers, standards-aligned curriculum documents to include appropriate modifications and accommodations.
- Ensure consistent implementation of research-based core academic curriculum with interventions aligned within a multi-tiered intervention framework.
- Support appropriate, effective educational technology use through daily advising, collaborating, and training of teachers both in and out of the classroom.
- Facilitate the building-level data collection and assessment process to evaluate effectiveness of school academic and climate initiatives, including data and assessments related to core academics.
- Facilitate various forms of professional development, including the following:
- Modeling, co-facilitating, and observing implementation of MTSS
- Small-group and whole-staff training and workshops
- Consultation to school leadership and school teams on the development and implementation of systems and structures for for school culture and climate topics
- Attends professional development and district-level MTSS meetings.
- Models skillful use of data to inform decision-making.
- Maintains cooperative working relationships with parents, staff, and other district personnel.
- Maintains effective and timely written and oral communication with parents, staff, and other school personnel.
- Serves, as requested on district committees.
- Develops and maintains a positive rapport with families and staff.
- Assists in monitoring the process to ensure compliance and adherence to district procedures, state guidelines, and federal regulations.
The successful candidate will possess ademonstrated record of effectively leading adults in creating change.
Salary per the Professional Agreement;$6,100.00 tuition reimbursement per year up to Master's degree
