Duty Aide Position

Vacancies currently exist for part-time Duty Aides to cover lunch and recess periods at Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School. These are rewarding positions in a supportive team environment where your work makes a difference in the lives of young students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Escort students from the cafeteria to the playground for recess; supervise students while on the playground, ensuring their safety.
• Distribute lunch tickets to proper students; escort students to the cafeteria and supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch period.
• Escort students from the cafeteria to their encore classes and from classes to the playground.
• Monitor students as assigned.
• Work closely with the Assistant Principal/Principal and teachers.
• Maintain communication with guidance counselors when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Principal/Principal.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma necessary
• Experience working with children preferred
• Must have current Act 34, 151 & 114 Clearances

Pay: $16.00/hour Hours: 11:15 AM - 3:15 PM (4 hours per day) Location: Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School
