Position Description
Site Engineering organization at Constellation’s Limerick Generating Station. The successful candidate will work in one of two sections:
Strategic Engineering or Design Engineering. The Strategic Engineering section supports all aspects of station operation and maintenance. The Design Engineering section is responsible for modifications and design changes as well as identifying and assisting in resolving station technical issues.
Co‑op responsibilities include:
- Analysis of data using spreadsheet programs, reviewing computerized data, compiling data to support analysis and preparation of performance indicators
- Supporting the preparation of reports for presentation to senior station management
- System walk‑downs, troubleshooting of plant systems and instrumentation
- Maintenance inspections of equipment
- Development of preliminary design change packages
- Research equipment specifications for future applications
Recommended:
Basic engineering skills with an understanding of practical applications.
Preferred majors:
Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology.
- Intermediate – Some related work or volunteer experience / second co‑op
- Advanced – Previous related work experience / final co‑op

Hourly paid. Stipend:
Housing stipend offered to candidates who live outside 50 miles to the assigned work location.
Approximate hours per week: 40.
Requirements & Restrictions- Minimum GPA: 2.8 cumulative, 3.0 major
