OEM Paint Mixing Technician (2nd Shift)

Monday - Friday 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (8 hr shift plus 30 min lunch)

We're looking for a detail-oriented OEM Paint Mixing Technician to join our second-shift team.

What You'll Do As an OEM Paint Mixing Technician, you will:

  • Accurately mix OEM automotive paints using computerized mixing systems and manual hand-pour techniques
  • Fill paint components according to established formulas and quality standards
  • Measure, weigh, and dispense toners and additives with precision
  • Prepare custom paint orders while ensuring color accuracy and consistency
  • Operate, clean, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on paint mixing equipment
  • Verify formulas, labels, batch information, and documentation for accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures for handling paints and chemicals
  • Monitor inventory levels of toners and mixing supplies and communicate replenishment needs
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

What Makes You Successful You'll thrive in this position if you:

  • Have experience mixing automotive paint, industrial coatings, powder coatings, or working in a collision repair or paint shop
  • Have experience operating computerized paint mixing equipment

Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequently bend, reach, and grasp
  • Lift and move materials and containers throughout the shift
  • Read paint codes, formulas, labels, and machine displays
  • Safely operate paint mixing equipment and related machinery
  • Work with paints, powders, and associated chemicals while following all required safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
