Job Title: Production Supervisor – Pre-Weigh
Location: Pottstown, PA

Reports To: Director of Operations
Position SummaryThe Production Supervisor – Pre-Weigh is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the pre-weigh department of our manufacturing facility in Pottstown, PA. This role supports production operations by ensuring accurate batching, material handling, scheduling, food safety compliance, and team leadership while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
What You Will Do- Lead and supervise daily operations within the pre-weigh department to support production goals and quality standards
- Ensure accurate weighing, batching, lot tracking, and documentation of production processes
- Coordinate production schedules and material availability with internal teams and third- party warehouses
- Train, mentor, and support hourly production employees while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Conduct safety and production meetings and reinforce GMP, FDA, FSMA, and OSHA compliance standards
- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies
- Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions
- Support hiring, onboarding, employee development, and performance management initiatives
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas through Lean and 5S initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service teams
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office tools to support production operations and reporting
- Support additional production and warehousing initiatives as assigned
- You are a hands‑on leader who can motivate teams while maintaining accountability and operational excellence
- You are organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- You communicate clearly and work collaboratively across departments
- You are solutions‑focused and committed to continuous improvement
- You value workplace safety, food safety, and maintaining high‑quality standards
- You bring positive energy and professionalism to your team every day
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred
- OR 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience working in GMP, FDA, USDA, or food manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred

- GMP, HACCP, Allergen Control, and SSOP standards
- Accurate documentation and traceability practices
- Food safety, OSHA, and workplace safety requirements
- Audit readiness and recall support activities as directed
