Campus Security Officer

Campus Security Officer – Pottstown, PA

Compensation: $17.50 per hour. Shift: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (24 Hours per week). An active driver's license and CPR certificate are required.

Garda World is a global leader in security services. We are looking for a Campus Security Officer with outstanding customer service skills, good judgement, and the ability to work independently across campus and surrounding areas.

• Provide excellent customer service as a top priority.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols around the property.
• Deter vagrants from the property.
• Supervise and manage employees at the assigned job site.
• Maintain a professional relationship with the client at the assigned site.
• Exercise independent judgement and sound decision making in performing all duties.
• Observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at the assigned location.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Experience with access control.
• Regulate traffic and enforce traffic laws on property.
• De‑escalate verbal altercations.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• One year of security, military, or law‑enforcement experience.
• State license if required.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
