Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

3.1 Security Experience

• Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience (C112). This experience should include, but is not limited to, roles in security operations, risk management, or related fields. Candidates are encouraged to provide detailed descriptions of their previous roles and responsibilities in their resumes or during the interview process.

3.2 Technological Proficiency

• Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications, email communication, and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
