We are seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined Garage Door Technician to join our team serving homeowners across the Greater Philadelphia region. This is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and delivering high‑quality results for customers.
You’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing residential garage doors and openers while representing a company that is focused on professionalism, efficiency, and long‑term growth in this market.
What You’ll Do- Install new residential garage doors, openers, and related systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and hardware safely
- Complete service calls and preventative maintenance
- Educate customers on repairs, upgrades, and proper door operation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles
- Follow company processes to ensure consistent, high-quality installations
- Accurately document work performed and materials used
- Work closely with the operations team to complete jobs on schedule
- Strong mechanical aptitude (construction, automotive, HVAC, or similar experience is helpful)
- Dependable, hard‑working, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work daily
- Problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail
- Professional communication and customer‑service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to learn — we will train the right candidate
