This role requires strong technical skills, reliability, and the ability to manage diverse tasks across the facility and grounds.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of our building systems and equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, etc.)

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility-related emergencies

• Maintain and repair tools, equipment, doors, locks, fixtures, and furniture

• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

• Support facility improvement projects and general upkeep tasks (painting, minor carpentry, etc.)

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)

• 2+ years of facilities or maintenance experience

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems

• Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

• Valid driver's license (if required)

• EPA certification (for HVAC work)

• Experience with building management systems (BMS)

• Basic computer skills for work order systems

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• May require occasional evenings or weekends

• On-call availability may be required

• Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
