Experienced Dozer Operator

The H&K Group is seeking an Experienced Dozer Operator to support heavy civil construction projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. In this role, you will safely operate dozers for site prep, grading, cut-and-fill, and roadwork, working from stakes, plans, and GPS or laser controls. You'll perform pre- and post-operation inspections, report maintenance needs, and follow strict safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate dozers for site prep, grading, and earthmoving on heavy civil projects
• Read and follow stakes, plans, grades, and GPS/laser guidance for accurate cuts and fills
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections and basic equipment maintenance
• Follow all company, OSHA, and environmental safety standards and reporting procedures
• Communicate with foremen, surveyors, and crew to coordinate work and maintain productivity
• Monitor material types, moisture, and compaction needs while pushing, cutting, and filling
• Assist with minor troubleshooting and report mechanical issues promptly
• Work in varying weather and site conditions while maintaining quality and efficiency
• Support other site activities as needed, including basic labor tasks
• Participate in training and development to improve operating skills and safety awareness
