The Fire Extinguisher Helper Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, selling, and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, emergency lights and other fire products in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inspections, selling, and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, emergency lights and other fire products.
- Achieve any weekly productivity goals. Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain any licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
- Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies
Job Requirements:
- Fire Extinguisher inspection and service experience
- Ability to learn applicable inspection and servicing codes
- A valid driver's license and a current and sustainable good driving record
- Excellent selling, communications, and customer service skills
- Kitchen Suppression experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicable experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity
- NFPA 10 and NFPA 17A certifications are a major plus
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Hiring Min Rate: 18 USD
