Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Youth Soccer Coach. As the coach, you will be responsible for teaching soccer skills and strategies to young athletes, fostering a love for the sport, and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and has a strong understanding of soccer.

8 week sessions per season, Also two weeks of summer camps

Thursday nights 6:30PM - 8:15PM

• Develop and implement age-appropriate training sessions to improve players' technical skills, tactical awareness, and overall understanding of the game.
• Plan and organize practice sessions that focus on various aspects of the game, including ball control, passing, shooting, and game strategy.
• Teach proper techniques, rules, and sportsmanship to young players, emphasizing fair play and respect for teammates, opponents, and officials.
• Encourage teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication among players during practices and games.
• Assess player abilities and provide individualized instruction and feedback to help them progress and reach their potential.
• Coordinate and coach teams during games, providing guidance, motivation, and strategic direction.
• Create a positive and inclusive team environment, where all players feel valued and supported.
• Work closely with parents, providing regular updates on player progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Attend coaching clinics, workshops, and training sessions to enhance coaching skills and stay updated on current coaching methodologies.

• Previous coaching experience in youth soccer or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of soccer rules, strategies, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and inspire young athletes.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with children of varying skill levels.
• Enthusiasm and passion for the sport, with the ability to instill a love for soccer in young players.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
