Bus Driver

Pottstown, PA — Salary Range: $22.00 to $25.00 hourly.

Drivers are the most important employees in our company. Without them, we would not have a service to provide. They transport our future generations to and from school with a positive attitude, a cheerful greeting, and respect— all while maintaining a safe and timely bus ride. Each driver is a part of the family we've created and we view each day as another opportunity to serve the community.

• Maintain the "People Standard" of the company, including a positive attitude, strong work ethic, self‑motivation, teamwork, follow‑through on commitments, and reliability.
• Perform all driving duties with utmost safety and defensive driving techniques.
• Communicate with students about loading/unloading the bus, bus stop locations, and bus‑stop safety procedures.
• Maintain close communication with dispatch on route movements and times; report any variances, especially emergency situations or hazards.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding child and family privacy.
• Keep the interior of the bus clean: sweep or mop daily and dispose of garbage after each a.m. route.
• Refuel the vehicle at authorized locations using card locks or bulk fuel systems.
• Attend daily assigned duties.
• Remain knowledgeable of Pennsylvania school bus driver rules and regulations; maintain a qualified license. Report any traffic citations, violations, or criminal convictions that could affect the license.
• Manage pupil behavior on the bus routes, reminding students of bus rules and training them on proper behavior.
