Job Description: The Warehouse Associate I supports order picking, forklift operation, and inventory management, ensuring safety, accurate order fulfillment, and compliance with company procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned, as necessary.

Order Picking (80%)

Review regular paper orders and RF Gen pick lists.
Pick materials using forklifts and assemble in staging lanes.
Ensure safety protocols are followed.

Housekeeping (10%)

Keep aisles and rack locations clean of debris and empty pallets.

Forklift Inspections (5%)

Perform pre‑shift and post‑shift inspections; report needed repairs.

Inventory Audit (5%)

Assist in annual inventory audit.
Perform product counts and record results.

Order Loading/Unloading (10%)

Assist in loading completed orders onto trucks, delivery carriers, and customer pickups.
Assist with unloading LTL carriers and truck loads.
Verify received items against purchase orders; inform purchaser of discrepancies.
Stock items or deliver to purchasing party.
Correct Purchase Order discrepancies and document issues.
Maintain shipping documentation.
Coordinate with Procurement & Accounts Payable on PO/invoice issues.
Work with Customer Service and QC to process RMAs and carrier returns.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

Ability to perform basic inventory counts using math.
Ability to read and interpret directions and order details.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Safe forklift operation.
Operation of RF Gen gun.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

Must pass pre‑employment physical assessment.
Lift 50 pounds or more.
Push/Pull 50 pounds.
Stand 80% of the day.
Sit 20% of the day.
Twist/Bend 50% of the day.
Squat, climb, or crawl 20% of the day.
