Security Officer

Allied Universal seeks an Armed Security Officer (Act 235 required) to protect people and property at client locations. Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, incident response, and detailed reporting. You will maintain firearm readiness, enforce site rules, and provide professional customer service while supporting a culture of safety, vigilance, and integrity. Part-time schedules may include nights, weekends, or holidays based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned client sites to deter theft, vandalism, and safety hazards
• Control access by checking credentials, logging visitors, and enforcing site procedures
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, notifying law enforcement or EMS as needed
• Complete detailed incident, activity, and shift reports accurately and on time
• Conduct bag, vehicle, or metal detector screenings when required by client policy
• Maintain readiness and safe operation of assigned firearm in compliance with Act 235
• Provide professional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
• Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific post orders and safety protocols
• Participate in ongoing security, firearms, and de-escalation training
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure consistent site coverage
