The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital financial pillar, driving the accuracy of active project budgets through precise job cost tracking and reporting. This role offers the autonomy to manage critical documentation while collaborating directly with Project Managers to maintain financial health. You will join a supportive, stable team that offers exposure to high-profile public builds and rewarding career growth.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Review coding for specialized construction invoices accurately to ensure precise alignment with project
  • Reconcile complex vendor accounts and monthly credit card statements to maintain flawless internal records.
  • Maintain comprehensive job cost records continuously to track live financial performance against targets.
  • Support the accurate processing of AIA pay applications, compliance documentation, and mandatory lien
  • Assist internal accounting team with month-end financial closeouts and detailed reporting procedures.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers and external vendors to streamline corporate communication pipelines.
  • Organize general accounting documentation efficiently within a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven background managing specialized job cost tracking and financial records within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately review, code, and process high-volume vendor invoices.
  • Solid understanding of essential construction documentation including lien waivers and pay applications.
  • Strong capabilities working effectively under tight deadlines within collaborative team settings.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary to resolve vendor account discrepancies.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of dedicated construction accounting or clerical bookkeeping experience.
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency utilizing specialized Sage software platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
