Introduction

We are seeking an experienced A Level or B+ Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Poughkeepsie, NY. Whether you're a highly skilled diagnostic technician or a strong repair technician looking to continue developing your skills, you'll have the opportunity to work in a clean, climate-controlled facility with modern equipment, a supportive team, and a customer-first approach. Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, inspect, and repair domestic and import vehicles based on your experience level.
  • Perform maintenance services, drivability repairs, brake repairs, steering and suspension repairs, engine repairs, and other mechanical work.
  • Troubleshoot vehicle concerns using professional diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete digital vehicle inspections (DVIs) using Tekmetric.
  • Perform heavy-line repairs and advanced diagnostics when qualified.
  • Service both gasoline and diesel vehicles, including light and medium-duty trucks.
  • Perform wheel balancing and medium-duty alignments.
  • Accurately document repairs and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians to efficiently complete repairs while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Keep work areas clean while following shop safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • A Level technicians should possess strong diagnostic abilities and experience with complex drivability and electrical concerns. 5+ years of professional automotive shop repair experience required
  • B+ Level technicians should be capable of independently performing common repairs and maintenance while continuing to develop diagnostic skills. 3+ years of professional automotive shop repair experience required
  • Experience working in an independent repair shop or dealership environment is required
  • Ability to perform brake, steering, suspension, engine, and drivability repairs.
  • Experience servicing both gasoline and diesel vehicles is HIGHLY preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital vehicle inspections;
    Tekmetric experience is a plus.
  • ASE Certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality repairs.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation
  • A Level Tech: $80,000-$120,000+ annual earning potential (Depending on Experience)
  • Hybrid pay plan with weekly gross profit sharing.
  • Hourly or flat-rate compensation may be considered based on experience.
  • B Level Tech:
    Hourly Pay $25.00 - $32.00 (Depending on Experience)
    hourly AND weekly gross profit sharing.
