About this role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Wealth Client Onboarding Specialist for our Wealth Advisors Division to deliver a seamless and professional client onboarding experience. This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of new client onboarding, facilitating account establishment, and managing account‑opening requests for existing clients. The ideal candidate is client‑focused, process‑driven, and thrives in a fast‑paced, relationship‑oriented environment.

- Manage the full onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth, accurate, and high‑quality client experience.
- Prepare, review, and process account documentation, advisory agreements, and onboarding paperwork in compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding, providing proactive communication and timely updates.
- Coordinate account setup, transfers, rollovers, beneficiary updates, and registration changes across custodial and internal systems.
- Partner closely with advisors, planners, and operations teams to ensure efficient account implementation and ongoing support.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with KYC/AML and firm policies.
- Track onboarding progress, resolve outstanding items, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and the client experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, client service, operations, or account administration.
- Knowledge of account opening procedures, ACAT transfers, and custodial platforms. Preferably LPL Financial.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and document management platforms. Preferably Black Diamond/Salentica.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with Vertafore a plus.
- Appropriate state insurance licenses and continuing education required.
- Works effectively and relates well with others including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company in a professional manner.
$100,000 - $130,000 based on experience.
