Our client, a reputable multi-specialty physician practice well-regarded for providing comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare across the Hudson Valley region, is hiring a Urologist. This vital position offers an excellent opportunity to join a highly integrated and longstanding Urology Division dedicated to advancing urologic care through clinical excellence, innovation, and community service.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse spectrum of adult urologic conditions within a collaborative and technologically advanced environment.
- Medical and surgical management, including procedures such as cystoscopy, prostate interventions, stone management, and minimally invasive laparoscopic or robotic surgeries.
- Developing individualized treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic results, and educating patients and families to promote informed decision-making.
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential, along with participation in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing medical education.
Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Urology residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active and unrestricted New York State medical license (or eligible)
- Current DEA registration
- Strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Excellent surgical, clinical, and communication skills
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Ability to work effectively within a team and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs)
