Outpatient Neurologist at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, located in Poughkeepsie, New York. Nuvance Health Medical Practice, an affiliate of Vassar Brothers Medical Center and Northern Dutchess Hospital, is seeking a full time BE/BC Neurologist to join our growing Neurosciences program at our outpatient practice located in historic and diverse Poughkeepsie, NY (just 75 minutes north of New York City).

The Neurology Division is part of a comprehensive neurosciences program with over 35 physicians and advanced practitioners that span our hospital system and includes Neurosurgery, Interventional Neuroradiology, and rehabilitation. We recently received full accreditation for an ACGME approved residency program, offering opportunities for supervising, educating, mentoring, and evaluating residents and medical students. Provide outpatient neurology services at the practice location. Collaborate with a comprehensive neurosciences team and participate in supervision and education of residents and medical students.

• M.D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Subspecialty training is desired but not a prerequisite. Training in epilepsy, movement disorders and/or neuromuscular disorders is encouraged.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York

Located on the banks of the Hudson River, Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) has a brand new 752,000 square-foot, eight-level inpatient pavilion with 263 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. VBMC provides leading acute and critical emergency care, including Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology, with centers of excellence in cardiac services, neurosciences, cancer care, and women’s health.

Salary Range: $300,000 - $400,000 annually
