Outpatient Neurologist at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. Full‑time BE/BC Neurologist to join our growing Neurosciences program at an outpatient practice located in historic and diverse Poughkeepsie, NY (approximately 75 minutes north of New York City).

The Neurology Division is part of a comprehensive neurosciences program with over 35 physicians and advanced practitioners spanning our hospital system, including Neurosurgery, Interventional Neuroradiology, and rehabilitation. The system recently received full accreditation for an ACGME‑approved residency program, offering opportunities for supervising, educating, mentoring, and evaluating residents and medical students. The successful candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications and experience:

• D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Subspecialty training is desired but not a prerequisite. Those with training in epilepsy, movement disorders and/or neuromuscular disorders are encouraged to apply.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York

Located on the banks of the Hudson River, Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) has a brand new 752,000 square-foot, eight-level inpatient pavilion with 263 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. VBMC provides leading acute and critical emergency care in the region, including Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology. The center offers centers of excellence in cardiac services, neurosciences, cancer care, and women’s health.

$300,000 - $400,000 annually
