Internal Medicine Physician, Primary Care Physician
Location: City of Poughkeepsie
Affiliated with Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, Northwell is seeking a board certified Internal Medicine Physician to work with our Internal Medicine residents in conjunction with our busy and growing practice. In this role you will work with the Program Director to develop and implement continuing medical education. This opportunity is for someone that is passionate about supervising, educating, mentoring, and evaluating internal medicine residents.
Responsibilities- Supervise, educate, mentor, and evaluate internal medicine residents.
- Work with the Program Director to develop and implement continuing medical education.
- Provide acute and chronic patient care in a fully outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to manage a diverse adult patient population.
- Participate in off‑hour coverage, shared among multiple providers (phone calls only with nurse triage).
- MD or DO with a New York State license and federal DEA registration.
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.

Salary Range: $285,000 - $325,000, commensurate or relative to experience.
