**** The Chinese and Japanese Department invites applications for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor of Japanese to begin in August 2026.

* Job Description:
**** The successful candidate will teach five courses at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels. In addition to teaching, service activities within the department, such as cultural events and meetings, are expected. An MA in Japanese or a related field and experience teaching Japanese language are required.
